Melania And Donald Trump Are Wedding Copycats Says Star Jones’ Wedding Planner David Tutera

It is not the first time that Melania and Donald Trump have been accused of being copycats. When the book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story Of The View was published Tuesday last week, it brought on another spate of reports of the same.

Ladies Who Punch contains a deluge of information, most of it classified as private, regarding events that happened on the show, The View, how the hosts get along, and a lot more on their personal lives. One part of the aforementioned book is set aside for revealing the details of Star Jones' wedding to Al Reynolds back in 2004.

Jones, it is known, is one of the original hosts on that talk show which features a group of women from various generations who discuss top social, political, and entertainment issues.

Although President Donald Trump has been vocal now and again about not liking The View, he had been close enough to Jones to have been invited to her wedding. That was where he was purported to have taken a close enough look and decide just how he wanted his and Melania's wedding to be.

A portion of the said book deals with the experience of the television personality's wedding planner, David Tutera, who claims that now President Trump had taken detailed notes as to the way he set up of Jones' wedding.

The celebrity wedding planner shared with the book's author, journalist Ramin Setoodeh, that Donald and Melania not only took inspiration from his crafting of Jones' nuptials, but literally copied his ideas which were executed during the Jones-Reynolds wedding.

Tutera insisted that the concept he used during the 2004 wedding was used for the Trump 2005 wedding and that the beleaguered couple decided to avoid paying his fees by recruiting someone else to execute the mimicked wedding plans.

In the book, Tutera had invited people to "look" at the wedding pictures from both weddings for proof that what he is accusing the Trumps of doing is true. He vehemently claimed the copycat wedding was "exactly the same."

He begged that people look at the flower arrangements as well as the layout of the wedding.

However, Preston Bailey, the wedding planner Trump had hired instead to execute his and Melania's dream wedding---which was held at the Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach Florida---strongly disagreed with Tutera's claims.

Bailey proclaimed that Tutera's deductions were totally untrue, although he admitted that Jones' wedding was very well done. But in no way was the Trump wedding a copycat occasion. For one, the Jones and Reynolds wedding ring bearers were attired in black tuxedos while those of the Trump's were outfitted in white.

The motif for Jones' reception was done with pink accents in contrast to the gold and white tones throughout of the Trump event.

About the most obvious similarities between the two occasions were that Hillary Clinton was a guest at both and the photographer engaged was the same.

The My Fair Wedding television host revealed in the recently published Ladies Who Punch that Donald Trump had called him to ask whether he could do his and Melania's wedding.

Bailey, who was finally engaged to plan the Trump wedding, denied the allegations the Trump's plans were patterned after the said Jones wedding. He pointed out that Melania had even been "hands-on" and "specific" as to what she wanted and how she wanted the wedding to be designed.

The Trump wedding planner shared Melania intended her wedding to be "very elegant." With a white and gold motif, 10,000 white roses, gardenias, and other blooms were specifically ordered. The gold-ringed dinner plates down to the candelabras centered on each table were all the mark of Melania herself.

Melania had been proud to declare at that time that she "arranged" for all the tiny details and made a point to make sure "everything" was where she wanted it to be.
